Whisper on the Arts:

Yayoi Kusama at the Tate Modern

I was gutted to miss the press preview of London's most highly anticipated exhibition of the year--Yayoi Kusama at the Tate Modern--but I have a good reason, a really good, I swear.

In the meantime, I sent my photographer friend Jay McLaughlin (of the D&Me Style Whispering) on down in my stead to partake in the madness of the dot and cast himself headlong into the deliciously self-reflective void of Kusama's infamous infinity nets.

And so I share with you his LUSH images that if they don't entice you to get your bum south of the river to submerge yourself in the world of postmodern dot-tastic abstract expression, I don't know what else will (pumpkin bob and matching polka-dot dress aside, of course, bless her eccentric heart).

Full write-up on the exhibit coming after I've seen it in person...promise.
