Amanda describes herself as a forty something woman who happens to be in love with fashion – always has and always will be!

Ridiculously happily married and mum to an incredible little girl, after a 15-year career in finance, she now considers herself extremely lucky to be working in a field she has so much passion for.

Amanda runs The Online Stylist site full time, writing about style and fashion – sometimes with a hint of reality and sometimes with pure indulgence in it’s most glamorous form.

As well as running the Style Advice Service she also writes for Upper Street.com, a place where you can design your own bespoke shoes. Heaven!

What is The Online Stylist all about? Amanda has been blogging since May 2008 and found her content always returned to fashion.

The Online Stylist was born out of the idea of wanting to provide a one-stop source for style inspiration for every woman. Amanda says "Great style is not just the preserve of the rich and famous – it’s something unique, personal and comes in many guises. Amanda looks at her style heroes (these include Eva Mendes, Olivia Palermo, Jennifer Aniston and Sarah Jessica Parker to name a few) for inspiration – the ultimate in Manhattan luxe, a laid back girl next door vibe, daring choices, classic elegance or fashion forward.

She feels that translated to the everyday world, fashion needs to be relevant, wearable and attainable. From the style basics to inspirational fashion and the ultra wearable to some dream worthy pieces, The Online Stylist has it covered.
